Why we founded Build UP

Over the last ten years, we have seen literally hundreds of homeowners planning to spend significant sums of money on their house extension, loft conversion or new-build projects. We have been part of that tender process for different construction companies, however we have found the customer experience remains the same.
Build UP has been specifically designed with our previous customer experiences in mind.

We are passionate about construction and understand that a person’s home is often their pride and joy. Our mission is to help homeowners realise a successful build with their new build construction, extension or loft conversion project. We do this in a number of ways:

We source only the best contractors

with the right project history. We qualify them and vet them extensively to ensure our customers only get the best. We marry their project history, location and skill set with each customers requirements. We aim for a match made in heaven!

We undertake a full detailed

construction survey. This is done independently by us before any of our contractors are involved. This ensures it is done honestly with no agenda. A detailed survey helps to build a full specification for the builder to price against ensuring there are no surprises later!

We assist the homeowner

in constructing a very detailed specification against the survey. We clearly communicate this to the contractors. This helps keep projects within budget. We try to leave no stone unturned!

We tender this out

to our contractors and return three or more quotes against the detailed specification. This way all tenders are directly comparable which helps to ensure accurate prices clearly understand which is the most cost effective quotation. In turn this helps this enables our customers to clearly decide who is the right contractor for their needs.

We assist in

the supervision of the project and ensure clear communication channels between all parties (customer, builder, building inspector, architect, etc) until all your all works are complete.
