All quotes are fixed against your full specification, and returned with a detailed cost breakdown, contract, start/finish date, and references for each builder. Only proven and vetted builders can become an Appointed Contractor for Build UP. We physically visit our contractor’s references and share this information with you. We know good work when we see it, and will happily arrange for you to do the same. We enable you to choose a Build UP Appointed Contractor with confidence.

PROJECT SUPPORT

When you are ready to build, we provide Contract Administration. Clearly setting out your full agreement with your Appointed Contractor including payment schedule, we start you on the right footing. We then continue to support you in the management of your works and in the supervision of your contract until completion.

The Founder

Over the last fourteen years, as a surveyor for differing construction companies, and user of other “rate-a-trade sites” Lee Ireson founded Build UP with some very specific aims.

 

Lee Ireson has a wealth of experience in surveying house extensions, loft conversions and newbuild housing projects. He is equally experienced in the development of the homeowner's specifications for the builds to be priced against, Contract Administration and full Project Management.

 

Over the last decade he has gained valuable experience over hundreds of different construction projects.

We don’t have thousands of contractors for you to choose from... We only work with the best contractors, with the right project history. Contractors who are as passionate as we are.

We don’t qualify our contractors in the same way as others, by checking google street maps, and just a telephone interview. We carefully select ALL of our contractors by physically going to visit them and their previous work. We only use contractors on recommendation from previous customers.

We are more than just a website. We work hard in the real world, as do our Contractors. Unlike our competitors, you can call us free until 10pm at night, and we visit you in your own home at your convenience including evenings or weekends for a free survey.
